On February 20, 2020, YouTube TV agreed with WarnerMedia to broadcast the streaming services HBO, Cinemax and HBO Max as add-ons.  The agreement will hold on bundle the CBS channel, CBS Sports Network, Pop TV, Smithsonian Channel and The CW and will also add BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1 in the summer. At a later date, another series of networks connecting to a premium rate will be ET Her, MTV2, Nick Jr., Nick Toons, TeenNick and MTV Classic. In March, YouTube TV and Sinclair agreed on a promotional agreement for Fox RSNs (which owns Sinclair). The terms of this agreement were unknown, even though we thought it would be a long-term arrangement and we were not going to play this song and dance for a while. As part of the new agreement with Sinclair, YouTube TV appears to have limited some or all of the 19 Fox RSNs available. YouTube says customers can check which channels are available in their zip code on their website at tv.youtube.com. The step came after YouTube and Fox first spoke publicly on Fox channels that left YouTube TV in February, but the two companies came to a deal to bring the rest of the MLB, NBA and NHL seasons until 2020. As nba and NHL seasons end and MLB ends at the end of October, the agreement between Fox and YouTube will also be broken. The agreement between Google and Sinclair will keep the 19 RSNs on YouTube TV until the end of the 2020 Major League Baseball season, according to a source familiar with the pact.
On July 29, 2019, youTube TV announced at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Pasadena, California, that it had signed a multi-year contract with PBS to allow live broadcasts of PBS-affiliated channels and PBS Kids Channel starting in the fourth quarter of 2019 (shortly before or after the November instructions) of selected PBS stations.
