Florida Players is a student-led exploratory theatre group that offers many opportunities for artistic and professional growth through hands-on work in live theatre. Florida players will produce captivating works that will challenge both its members and the public. Members of the Florida players will work on all aspects of live theater, including, but not limited to: directing, design, performance, playwriting, stage management and leadership. The Florida players also acts as an umbrella organization for the Floridance Dance Company. Florida Players is sponsored by Uf Student Government and is open to all students at the University of Florida, regardless of the major, as well as to the largest community in Gainesville.
